Molly joined Hillwood Communities in 2023 as the VP, Finance & Accounting. Molly oversees all aspects of finance and accounting for the company’s residential communities.
Prior to Hillwood, Molly was the Controller of Dallas-based Pathway Homes, where she built the accounting and finance operations from the ground up. Prior to Pathway, Molly was SVP, Corporate Controller at the Howard Hughes Corporation, where she oversaw corporate accounting, technical accounting, debt and fixed assets accounting, and SEC reporting. Before moving to Dallas, Molly worked at Carr Properties, a Washington, D.C.-based owner-operator and developer, where she focused on corporate accounting and preparation of IFRS and U.S. GAAP financial statements.
Throughout her career, Molly has focused on technology and process improvements that enhance accuracy and compliance, enable better decision-making, and optimize resources. She has led the implementation of or been an implementation team member for numerous accounting system implementations. She has also devoted significant time to the design and implementation of internal controls to address key financial risks.
Molly graduated from the University of Virginia and began her career in the Washington, D.C. office of Baker Tilly US, LLP. She is a licensed CPA. Outside of work, Molly enjoys volunteering at and serving on the board of the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas, trying new foods, and traveling with her husband.
