Ross Perot, Sr., held to the same high standard of excellence when he founded Electronic Data Systems (EDS) in 1962, marking the launch of the information technology industry. His revolutionary EDS campus inspired a new focus on real estate — and the founding of Hillwood, one of the nation’s largest independent real estate development firms. Hillwood’s inaugural project was the first industrial airport in the country north of Fort Worth, Texas.
